About Yummy:

Callum Peters is the designer behind Yummy Custard, based near Chester and Liverpool in the North West of England. He studies Graphic Design at the University of Chester, designing as Yummy Custard in his spare time. He offers design for print, brand identity, logo design, packaging design and soon, digital design. He recently worked as a creative intern at digital design agency AKQA in London.

Open | This is a logo I was commissioned to produce for my University’s Christian Union mission week which is coming up. I was asked to work around the theme of “open”, thinking particularly of Matthew 7:7: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. So I decided to stick with “open” as the main word, choosing a bright yellow circle to signify light, happiness etc. I chose a mix of typography including Franchise and Marketing Script, and the logo is to be used in the corners of posters, leaflets, videos etc. I also developed a black & white version for photocopying. © Callum Peters 2011
