New Identity | Last week I was asked to come up with a new logo for a society within Chester university. The particular society’s current logo was in need of a bit of a revamp - I always felt it was a bit ‘stereotypical’ and not very appealing. So I came up with several different designs, trying to incorporate a homely, welcoming aspect, whilst also thinking of the society’s core values (one of these being love - hence the hearts!). After sending the logos out for them to mull over, it transpired that their current logo was only a year old, and though my designs were well-received, they felt that changing the logo now wasn’t a good way of establishing an identity.
Bit of a shame really, but more work to add to my portfolio. More work coming soon!
